Squigglefly challenge
I'm late, and will be that way awhile...
We went out and bought a new computer yesterday, and I just finally got it hooked up LATE last night, but had no time to upload all the old stuff (programs and such) on it. And naturally I don't have my camera stuff uploaded either. So... as soon as I can tonight after work, I'll try to get some stuff uploaded, and then we'll see what I can get done. I don't have time this morning either, as I have to leave in a couple minutes for another medical appointment (I'M REALLY GETTING TIRED OF THESE!)
In the meantime, go checkout all the other DT members projects. You can find their blogs listed on my sidebar! And I'll get mine posted as soon as I can!

Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturday!
Here's my card for the sketch challenge at SSDS today. I was behind in getting it done. I don't think I like doing sketches much. I tend to "go with the flow" a little more than that. And I'm not especially good at visualilzing some slight changes like other people can do!
But I completed it, and for me, recently, that's a challenge in itself! I'm trying to get back into the swing of things but it's hard.
I'm sending this card to a girlfriend for Easter, and she raises chicks. I think she'll like it.
Have you stopped by the blog recently? If not, you have been missing some exciting news. We are slowing introducing you to the new team members, and they are some fantastic ladies, let me tell you. You definitely need to head over there and check things out. And while you are there - join in on our challenges. Mostly they are fun and there are some great prizes. This week's sponsor is Sunshine Stamps!

Something Brand New At Squigglefly!!
We are super excited to tell you about a brand-new line we're releasing on Squigglefly on March 27th called Inside-Outs!™
These sets contain everything you need to make a card from, well, the inside out!
Typically, they will contain two images and two sentiments, one of each to be used on the inside of the card, and one of each to be used on the outside of the card. It's everything you need to make a complete creation in one easy package!
As you can tell by the above, I just love this new stuff! And so fitting a first one for me to do. I've made a bunch of cards that I needed to give to people who have helped me in the past few weeks, and what an appropriate image they gave me to try out!! If you read my blog, you will have to agree that this is just perfect!
To promote this new line, we're offering each of you a chance at a free Inside-Outs!™ pack. What's cooler than getting your hands on one of these awesome new sets for free? All you have to do to be eligible is create something - anything - using a Squigglefly image and make a new post about it on your blog or website. Then, just send us the link to your post at squigglefly@squigglefly.com, and you get a free Inside-Outs!™ set emailed to you when they're released on March 27th! Blog or website posts must be made between March 19th - 27th to qualify.
Please go to the website to check this out!

I'm Baaaack!
Hi everyone!
I'm back! At least I think I'm fairly well back to normal! I'm ready to give it a try.
My treatments are all done, I think. I do have to consult with the oncology doctor next week, but the radiation treatments are done.
Here is my card for Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturday Challenge! The theme is "tear it up" and I'm not used to doing that, but I found this wonderful little image and it seemed to be able to fit in well. And I love the little jelly beans background! And it's nearly Easter!
You'd think I would have had a lot of time to get some cards made up ahead of time, but not me! Instead, I was still trying to work (granted, it's part time but all told I'm gone from home over 5 to 5 1/2 hours every day for it) and then having to squeeze the treatments and doctor visits and all into the other hours, and just the regular life things like grocery shopping, laundry etc....
Then to top it off, my computer started getting sassy with me. It's kinda old and cantankerous -- like me -- and it started denying there was a printer attached, and when I'd get that fixed, it would try telling me that the program I usually use wasn't loaded, which it was, and then it would say I have no photos (or images) anywhere on the computer, which I clearly actually probably have way too many loaded. I think it's time to replace this old model. It was top of the line when purchased, but that's been about 6-7 years ago now. And with all the expenses coming up, I'd hate to try and squeeze more from this money turnip - but I can't live without my computer! And we've been wanting a laptop, and although I think overall I still would like a desktop model, we're so unsure what to do.
So hubby and I are discussing the possibilities. Luckily I got to spend a little extra time on it the other day, and it seems to have straightened out a bit for now. But.... if I don't respond in the next few weeks, it's probably because of the computer!
Well, enough chatting for now. Go over to SSDS and check out the other design team members projects and get on board! This may be the last you'll see a few of them, as some are moving on to other positions on other teams, and we have some new members just starting this week and next. Still tons to see and new ideas to check out.
I'll be back for sure by next week with my Squigglefly challenge too. Who knows, if the computer cooperates, I may have more inbetween!! I hope so as cards needed within the family are still going on! Several birthdays and anniversaries coming up quick!
Thanks again for all the prayers and well wishes! They are so appreciated!

Hi blogger friends,
And, I have some FANTASTIC news!
I got the pathology report back late on Thursday when they changed the Mammosite balloon, and there was no cancer in the lymph nodes that were removed, and none was found in the margins either! And I started my radiation treatments today with the first two doses.
That continues every day next week, and then that's it.
I am so very blessed!
I've been extremely tired, but that's about the worse of the side effects. I understand that it's very common with this type of treatment and I've been back at work all week too, which is tiring as well. I only missed the surgery day and the following day. I'd like to take some time off to just get caught up on the rest, but I feel I can't. The new boss and my work has been so very good to me, and I can't let them down. And after having gone through such a long spell with no job, believe me it's important for me to treat them as well as they've done to me.
Tomorrow is going to be a day just for me!
I'm going to get a pedicure and get my nails done too. This - no shower - business is wearing me down, but I can't until everything is totally finished, and little sponge baths just aren't cutting it, so I decided I need the day to myself tomorrow before the treatments continue and my husband will be watching ballgames on tv anyway, so this is one way I decided to spend some time for myself. It's not that expensive and I deserve it!
Then I hope to get back into things by this coming weekend and get some cards made. I actually have made a few, but they were just quick cards to thank a few special friends who stepped up and helped so much this past couple of weeks. Now I owe my design teams a few to catch up a little.
So, have you scheduled your mammogram yet? Why not? It's such a quick procedure and boy, can it make a difference! Believe me. I actually did a self-exam and found this, followed by a visit to my primary and then a mammogram and then ultrasounds, and then a biopsy and then surgery, etc. This all started in early February - and now, middle of March, I'm nearly done. And it was found extremely early! You owe it to yourself to do this. You are the only person who knows your body this well and can early detect changes. Then follow it up with a mammogram and whatever may be needed. Please.
OK, I'm off the saltbox. Have a great day!

GOOD NEWS!!
I had my lumpectomy and they removed the small cancer, and luckily it appears that there was no cancer in the lymph nodes. They only removed the two lymph nodes to test (this is always done) and when they tested them during the surgery they didn't find any cancer cells. Now I have to wait to be positive on the final pathology (should be by Thursday), but sounds good to me!
