Some changes in my blog...

Along with the change in template of this blog, I'm going to STOP putting photos of blog candy on my site, unless it's required for a contest entry. I'm going to try and focus more on the cards I make being the main focus of this blog.

Also, for right now, I may keep the candy listings in the main text area, but that also may change in coming weeks as I try to figure this out. It may end up in a column on the right, where I can easily go in and delete them after they are over. I'm unsure for today how to handle all this.

I've enjoyed getting so many visitors who are seeking the candy, and I'll continue to list candy as often as I find some new ones, but no pictures, just the link like I see on most other blogs. It was taking too much time for me, as a newbie with blogging and all this, and I needed to get the focus back onto my trying to make cards (like the title) so please hang in there with me. I hope I'll be able to make more cards when I'm not devoting so much to this blogging part!

My Bookmarks for entry

There is a challenge going on over at the Change of Heart blog - to make bookmarks. Here are a couple of entries for me. The first one, inside the glasses say, "IF you can read this, then it continues with "you must have been hooked on phonics!" And the second one says, "Always hiding - in plain sight! and the Glasses say, "Worth the read!," and that rotates up and behind out of the way. These aren't my best, and my photography is lousy today, but I completed them. That's half the challenge for me!

A Blog Candy Win for me....

Well, this is a good thing for me!
I won on April 14 (sorry for the delay in posting, but the pkg arrived today, so I'm extra excited!) from DRS Designs. I won because someone didn't go back and check to see the results - therefore I was a second chance drawn winner, but it's still a fantastic win for me. See the photo of what I got today! Thanks Cathy for the fast delivery! I can hardly wait to get started using these lovely stamps (such a large amount too) and the soft peach stamp pad, ribbon and cards also.

Happy Easter! and here are some of my recent cards...

I keep meaning to post a few of my cards, and so this morning, while hubby is sleeping in after Easter Vigil last night, I thought I'd get them on here.
The second set is the inside/outside of an idea I had with my coluzzle heart shape cutout. Turned out OK. I like the shaped cards for some reason. The last one was sent to my girlfriend Laura.
