Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I got off so easy today, I only baked a small ham, fixed a couple dozen deviled eggs and we are providing  a pre-baked Sam's Club Pumpkin Pie and Cool Whip, a couple folding chairs, some bagged ice and some iced tea.  Whooo Hoo!!  And I get to spend time with family while not cooking.  How special is that!

Hi everyone!
I'm setting up a new blog candy starting tonight,  here - and you are all welcome to enter.  It runs through until Christmas Eve when one of my son's will choose a winner.
   
I won last year a candy like this, and I so enjoyed it the whole year long.  I won it from Toni Sacrison from her 5InkyFingers blog, and the prize was a card a month from her for all of 2012!

What a great surprise awaited me this year.  Every month I received a surprise card - suitable for me to use if I chose, but never knowing exactly when it would come, if it would be just a general card or a theme for a holiday occurring during that month.  And I have to say, so far at least, I've kept them ALL for great inspiration!

      So, starting tonight, my blog candy to one winner will be this same idea:
a new card made by me and mailed to the winner every month in 2013.
If you would like to have candy like this, please just leave a comment and a clear way for me to contact you later if you should win so I can get your mailing address.  That's it.  No more hoops and no conditions for this one.  Will mail anywhere.

trying to get back into the routine....

Here are a few cards I've made recently.

I am entering them into the Oozak blog contest this month for their Winter Vibes.

 I've not been doing much, as I haven't been in the best of health for a while, and awaiting testing results.  Today my doc said I'm doing as well as expected, and in some ways even better, so I'm trying to get back into normal routines.  So maybe you'll be seeing a few more cards in the coming weeks!

little halloween cutie

Here's a little Halloween card I made for my cute little Dahlia.  She's coming over tonight to greet the visits to our house and her Mama said she's dressing as a dragon, since she was a princess last year!  I'm also entering this into the Simon Says challenge since it's a round card!  Karen said Dahlia kept picking out this costume from a catalog and refused to look at any others.  Needless to say, my little sweetie has her own idea about things! But she was so darling in it!

Things are a little busy around here again. I've been making cards, but who knows when I'll get around to posting them.  Soon, I hope.  And I haven't forgotten about the candy - it should be up in a week or so, with pics.

I have a small Blog Candy....

OK, I pulled a dumb one the other day and ordered a second Labels One Nestability that someone was selling.  I already had one, I messed up and forgot I did, what I had really wanted was a Labels 3 - so..... for the benefit of someone who does not have a Labels One Nestability - put your name down here and maybe you can win it!

No fuss, no biggie, just put your name down in the comments if you DO NOT OWN this set and would like to have it.  And don't be like me, go check first!!  Here's a reminder of what they look like (6 of them), and samples of cuts.  Remember they are used, and so no packaging.

I'll probably add a few ribbons and maybe some small papers to the winner also.  I'll let this run until the end of August and probably list the winner within a few days (we'll be out of town for the first weekend of September).

I had several of the big 12 X 12 paper packs and so I rough cut some of them up into 6X6 pieces and I'm going to send off some paper packs to 2-3 winners.

Needing some help please.. regarding copic markers..

Hi everyone.
Well, I have a few copics and I'm getting a little better at using them, but not buying them.
The ones I have so far mostly were purchased individually at Michael's using a coupon.  Our local Hobby Lobby wasn't carrying them, and neither does the local JoAnn's.  I did get an 8 piece starter set when I won a gift certificate from Amazon, and I've added slowly to where I have about 25 now.

Anyway.... I have about six or eight  that now need a refill (I assume that, as the tips are getting lighter and it's not coloring as well).
I've seen comments on blogs before that it's MUCH cheaper to buy a refill (as it can fill at least a couple/three times).  What I need to know is the best and most inexpensive place in the USA  to buy them.


So, please let me know where you get your refills and how much they cost and an idea on the shipping.  
If you are a store owner - do you carry all the numbers? or just a select bunch - as on a couple of sites I couldn't find the specific ones I needed.


I'd appreciate any and all help.
